sorry to say but there are lots of reasons with the first being during the war and the blackouts the farmers were not allowed to use lights so they changed it so they could get the harvest in, in daylight!

also so the kids can get to school in the daylight… may sound silly but stop the peados killing little people out there!

For it is said, “It’s not my works that will be done, but thy works.” So, if I am to bring you to the faith, it won’t be my doing. It’ll be God’s. You may not like what I’m about to say, but it’s rather simple. You are not privy to what I know. I know what I know because it has been given unto me. You too can have that same knowledge, but you have to ask, “and ye shall receive.”

As silly as the ‘non-believers’ may thinks this is, it’s just simply true! Why not truly seek for yourself and find out. You’ll see that I’m right.

Avast is working fine, a little heavy on the memory by my standards. But It’s doing its job. And I gathered more info about the SHeur virus. Turns out its actually a whole new strand of Trojans. A person that I was talking to about programming told me that it has 2 or more effects on your computer. effect 1: it degrades hardware (meaning it will fry your video card, cpu, cd drive, etc.). 2: it will copy your system data and send critical bits of it to the hacker. 3: it gives hackers full access to your computer and will take control of the cpu, giving you something similar to the BSD while the hacker is going through your system as he pleases. Turning off your computer durring effects 2 and 3 WILL damage your system. If it is detected in the system restore, throw it in the virus vault ASAP. This virus has fried my CD drive! T_T

Lets define some terms here.

Gravity is a fact. We can observe it, therefore it exists. The *theory* of gravity is an attempt to explain it. First we had newton’s laws and gallileo, then came einstein’s theory of relativity. Einstein’s theory isn’t completely provable, as there may be factors not taken into account, but it’s the most accurate theory we have.

The process of evolution is fact. It is beyond all doubt that animals are evolving, and this process is what explains genetic diversity. The *theory* of evolution is what tries to explain it, and it is incomplete. Natural selection is listed as an obvious factor. Further research has gone into genetics and environmental factors. It will never be possible to prove the theory of evolution, but it is without any doubt that evolution has, is, and will continue to shape the earth’s species. There’s vast mountains of evidence for it.

None of these programs have been used recently. Quick Books probably the most recent but last time was in Jan of this year.

Why would this start happening now?

Can we get a condensed summary for us that don’t understand all the pc lingo?

My AVG picked up 3 of the Sheur trojans so far today. Is it a virus or not? Is AVGs heal/virus vault going to handle it or do I need to do something else? I can’t follow what has been posted thus far…seems contradictory. And other sites the same.

That commercial was the most awkward commercial I’ve ever seen. They should have cast Bill Gates, and then hired a different writer.

I will probably switch when beta stage is over, or until I am convinced enough bugs and security holes are patched. The multi-process/thread idea is what has me sold. If firefox was rewritten this way I would probably stick with it.

Hi Emily, thanks for your comments. I disagree with your underling thought here, that it’s impossible to weed out, therefore it should be allowed. I was in the USAF. There are many things the military prohibits that may still go on. But when an individual is discovered engaging in or promoting those acts, they are corrected or removed from service. This is for the good of the mission. Remember, in the military it’s mission first. Anything that distracts from the mission must be removed.
