After installing Ubuntu 9.10 I was unable to get Seesmic Desktop to keep passwords. Even after uninstalling AIR and Seesmic. Long story short, and a quick IM to Yama at Seesmic and he said I needed to simply delete the ELS folder from within AIR. Here’s the 1-2-3 of it all.
1. Close Seesmic Desktop.
2. Cut and paste this line (replacing user with your username) into terminal:
sudo rm -fdr /home/user/.appdata/Adobe/AIR/ELS
3. Restart Seesmic and tweet!
By the way: WOW! If only Yama worked for every company. ![]()

Reports are coming in of Iphone 3GS’s overheating. But not for everyone.
Paul Venezia wonders the same thing I did when I first read reports about over-heating.
I’ve read that some folks first noticed the problem when they kept the phone under their pillow (why you would do this kinda escapes me, but OK) … My iPhone 3GS: Not So Hot – PC World.
Of course none of this stopped me from ordering the new Iphone 3GS. When it gets here, and if It overheats, It will be under warranty and I’ll take it back. And if they issue a recall, I’m fine w/ that.
